Andersen Storm is a German author, essayist, musician, and interdisciplinary artist. His work explores the interplay between language, sound, and artistic thinking, often at the intersection of poetics, philosophy, and social reflection.
He has released two German-language music albums, performed at various literary events, and was among the first wave of podcasters in the mid-2000s, producing nearly 500 episodes. His early background includes work in cultural journalism and public communication within the fields of youth and media education.
Since relocating to the Leipzig region, his focus has shifted toward a more concentrated artistic practice that weaves together text, voice, and performance.
Andersen Storm is currently developing a cross-media art project around the fictional stage persona Captain Ole Nebel, which blends storytelling, sound, and social observation. In parallel, he curates menschundkultur.de, an independent platform for literature, music, and public reflection.
He lives and works in Markkleeberg, near Leipzig, Germany.
