Dear friend of independent music,
Indie sounds better. This means at least two things: Firstly, it is a musician/producer who is not under contract somewhere and therefore has to take care of all his own needs. And secondly, it is music that does not have to meet any expectations or influence from anyone except the creators themselves, and can therefore develop freely. Doubly free – if you like 😉
Now you come into the game:
Music exists also without listening, but what for then?! However, listening alone is not enough to keep the music boat (who has a steamer) running, making music and publishing. And – you can believe me – creating music for yourself is also nice, but something essential is missing. Imagine a valuable painting in a safe. Nobody sees it. It pleases no one, it disturbs no one, it is useless even if it were beautiful. It is the same with a song.
